1:1 Session Terms

A 1:1 session is a private, scheduled video conversation between you and a mentor from the FXfolder community. Sessions are educational. A mentor may walk through charts, talk about process, review how you are recording your trades, or answer questions about how they work.

A session is not investment advice, and nothing said in one is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

Mentors on FXfolder are not permitted to, and will not:

• tell you what to buy or sell, or give you signals to follow;
• manage your money, trade your account, or ask for your account credentials;
• promise or guarantee profits, income, or any particular outcome;
• ask you to send them money outside FXfolder, or move the relationship off the platform.

If a mentor does any of these, stop the session and tell us. We take it seriously.

Every trading decision you make is yours alone, and you are responsible for it. Trading foreign exchange and other leveraged instruments carries a high level of risk and can result in the loss of more than your initial deposit. Past results, whether a mentor's or anyone else's, do not predict future results. Read our risk disclaimer.

• You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time, and you will be refunded in full.
• Inside 24 hours, a cancellation is not refundable. The mentor held that time for you and cannot fill it.
• If the mentor cancels, at any notice, you are refunded in full automatically.
• If the mentor does not show up, you are refunded in full automatically. If you do not show up, the session is not refundable.
• Refunds of card payments go back to the original payment method and usually take 5 to 10 business days.
• For a session paid in crypto, the refund arrives as an email from ForumPay, our crypto payment processor, with a link to claim the full amount in crypto to a wallet of your choice. The network fee for sending it may be deducted.

Sessions take place on FXfolder, in your browser. The room opens 10 minutes before the start time. You will need a working camera and microphone, and a reasonable connection. Screen sharing works on a computer but not on most mobile browsers.

We do not record sessions. Please do not record a session without the other person's clear agreement, and be aware that recording someone without consent is illegal in some countries.

Treat each other with respect. We may cancel a booking, refund it, and remove access to 1:1 sessions from either side for abusive behaviour, harassment, or attempts to use sessions for anything other than what they are for.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to a session is the one you accepted when you booked it, which we record with your booking.
